Software engineering plays an important role to produce a high quality software system by instilling the application to certain systematic, disciplined or quantifiable approach to the development or maintenance process. Software engineering research in academia should be improved to meet the practice in industry. This demands a better collaboration among the researchers and practitioners.
What is MySEIG?
Malaysian Software Engineering Interest Group (MySEIG) is initiated in order to provide a platform among software engineers to share knowledge, ideas and experience related to software engineering issues. By having the MySEIG web portal we hope Malaysian software engineers will be able to collaborate better either in their research work or software engineering practices.
MySEIG web portal keeps track all registered users' information and new users need to register in order to join the community. By joining the community a user will be able to visualize all MySEIG members including their fields and levels of expertise. Thus this will enable all registered users to gain the benefits of being in the community by making queries to the members of their interest or by giving feedbacks on the issues discussed among the community.
